Message	I know a guy that had the same exact problem after approx 500 miles. His car was still smoking like crazy, and had poor compression after a fresh rebuild. He took it out late one evening and beat on it pretty hard boosted the hell out of the engine and forced the rings to seal. After that his compression was back up and no smoking. Just an idea.
